EduChamp Overview

At EduChamp, seeing our learners thrive is what drives us. We take a unique and innovative approach to tutoring that helps students truly connect with the subject matter they need to master. Through personalized and focused teaching methods, our learners gain the tools and confidence they need to succeed — not just academically, but in life.

We offer tailored after-school tutoring for all grades and selected university modules. Our services help students stay on top of their syllabus or coursework, tackle homework challenges, improve creative writing skills, and prepare thoroughly for tests and exams. For Grade 12 learners, we go a step further by assisting with tertiary applications and scholarship submissions.

To support the full learner journey, we also offer coaching and mentoring services that focus on motivation, goal setting, study discipline, and emotional resilience. Our aim is to guide students not only through their academics, but through the personal challenges that can impact learning and performance.

We understand that today’s parents are balancing demanding schedules — and that’s where we step in. EduChamp is not just here for the learners; we are partners to parents. From academic guidance to life logistics, we help lighten their load with practical solutions, consistent communication, and reliable support. We keep parents informed and involved through regular progress updates and easy access to resources.

Our support extends well beyond the tutoring session. Our online platform serves as a continuous learning hub, where students can access extra academic resources anytime. Under the ‘Past Papers / Study Resources’ tab, learners can find:

  • Past exam papers

  • Notes and summaries

  • Study plans

  • Video lessons and solved video past papers

  • Interactive quizzes for revision and assessment

And because well-nourished minds start with well-fed bodies, we also provide ready-to-eat school lunch boxes and snack packs — a convenient, healthy option for busy families who want to ensure their children are energized and focused throughout the school day.

Goodness (Founder & Tutor)

Goodness is the passionate founder behind EduChamp Tutors. Her journey began in an under-performing township school, in a community deeply affected by poverty and drug abuse. Despite these challenges, her determination and love for learning paved the way to university—an achievement that came with great resilience.

Fueled by her belief in education as a tool for change and equality, Goodness created EduChamp Tutors: a unique, learner-centered platform that takes into account the real-life struggles students face. EduChamp’s holistic approach to tutoring is a reflection of her own academic and life experiences. We believe every child can succeed—regardless of background, race, or financial status.

Goodness holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Business Management (BCom Law/Management) from the University of the Witwatersrand. She also studied Mineral Sciences and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Pretoria and Nursing at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Since 2017, Goodness has been working as a tutor, supporting students across different subjects and grade levels. Her vision continues to drive EduChamp’s mission: to uplift, empower, and inspire every learner

Freedom (Co-Founder & Administrator)

Freedom graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of the Free State in 2012. He went on to further his studies at the Chamber of Mines, where he obtained additional qualifications in Rock Engineering and Health and Safety in Mining. He brings a wealth of experience in mentorship and leadership.
